Something I like about this place is that they started us off with muffins at no charge. The apple muffins were delicious. We all had hamburgers and they were okay. The french fries were about the same. The table was not as clean as I would have liked it and the menu was dirty. However the service was good. Don't know that I will return their just because of the cleanliness issues.
Enjoyed the shrimp and grits at the bar with a tomato pie on the side. The bar tender was pleasant and added to my experience. I would recommend.
The free muffins were good. That was about it. The staff wasn't friendly, and they food was prepackaged, frozen food that had just been warmed up. It was edible and didn't taste bad, but wasn't good either. I wouldn't recommend it.
Had the shrimp and grits, fried gator tail and 12 oz angus rib eye. Everything was very good. The staff is very friendly nice xasual atmosphere.
Just had an underwhelming visit. First time here. Also my last. Crab bisque starter was delicious. Jumped the tracks after that. Ordered the fried seafood platter. 3 shrimp, 2 crab balls, 2 scallops, 4 oysters. 18 dollars. Delivered on a bed of two lettuce leaves. Quickly wilted and unappealing. Baked potato in an aluminum foil wrap. Potato was cut while still wrapped. Had to dig aluminum foil shards out of the potato. I should have just sent it back. The skin on the side it was grilled was bullet proof. Ambience was so - so. My only question is, with Kendall's fine eatery directly across the street, why bother here? I'll be back there for dinner tomorrow, as I'm regretting my choice to try something different tonight.
